My name is Giancarlo Ramirez, and I am a pharmacist with a degree in Pharmacy, specializing in drug design and production. I am the former President of the Belize Association of Pharmaceutical Students (BAPS) and currently the Chairperson of PARS 2025. My passion for healthcare has led me to complete specialized training in primary health care response, antimicrobial resistance, and pharmaceutical production.
Beyond my work in pharmacy, I have a strong background in digital marketing, graphic design, photography, and video editing. I worked as the Social Media and Public Relations Manager at Centaur Communications Corp. Ltd., where I developed expertise in communication and brand management. As a bilingual professional (English and Spanish), I excel in connecting with diverse audiences, and I take pride in my ability to think critically, manage time efficiently, and lead effectively. I also formed part of the Translations committee for the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation to translate the official documents from English to Spanish and verify proof read other parts generated by the translations team. It is with great pleasure for me to be a part of this Pharmily and I look forward to getting to meet new faces at PARS 2025 at Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
