26 years old, pharmacist graduated from the Lebanese American University in 2022 and is currently in her second year of PhD in Drug design in one of the top universities in the world at USP São Paulo, Brazil.
At the age of 25, El Hajje founded her NGO “Mariam Foundation” with the aim of helping the less fortunate Lebanese people get their medications at 0 charge. Her NGO is going international with the help of the Lebanese expats from different countries in the world such as USA, Brazil, France, Germany, Belgium and Kuwait. Recently El Hajje has opened her consulting company CannaMed Plus that provides cannabis market research consulting services.
Last but not least, El Hajje currently serves as the secretary in IPSF PARO and has been elected as the IPSF PARO Chairperson for the mandate 2024-2025. She works to build collaboration with member organisations in IPSF and other local and international associations and partners to strengthen the region and engage its members. El Hajje is interested in public health advocacy and takes part in projects that impact human health.
